Words have always been my art:
They dance for me and sing for me;
They laugh for me and cry for me;
They are my paint and brushes;
They are my clay.
I thought I knew the truth,
But I was oh so wrong.
I didn’t have a clue.
But then I saw anew,
And I learned I am strong.
Intriguing. I think you have created maximum effect with these few lines!
I still don't know what to do with how wrong I was on some counts. I suppose we should be proud of ourselves that we are able to learn. However, it would have helped a lot if I'd known certain things long ago. Or would I have been too stubborn to do anything different?
I like this. There can be much strength through learning hard truths and you've presented that here wonderfully.
